Privacy Policy

The short version: Invader doesn’t track you. There’s no analytics SDK building a profile of you, and no third-party trackers. We don’t sell or share your personal data — your subscriptions and history stay on your device.

What stays on your device

Your subscriptions, your queue, your saved and recently-played episodes, your playback positions, and your settings are stored locally on your iPhone. Invader has no account system — you never sign in, and there is no profile of you. The one exception is new-episode notifications (below), which need to know which shows you follow in order to alert you.

Information that reaches third parties

• Apple (podcast discovery). When you search or browse charts, your query is sent to Apple’s public iTunes Search and Podcast directory services so we can show results. This is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
• Podcast publishers. To show episodes and notes and to stream or download audio, the app fetches each show’s RSS feed and media files directly from the publisher’s servers. Those servers may log standard request information such as your IP address.
• RevenueCat & Apple (subscriptions). If you subscribe toInvader Pro, payment is processed by Apple’s App Store — we never see your payment details. Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat, which stores your purchase history along with a random app identifier and your device’s vendor identifier (IDFV) so your Pro unlock survives reinstalls. Because there are no accounts, none of this is tied to your identity; it’s used only to deliver Pro and to view aggregate revenue statistics, and is retained only as long as needed to operate subscriptions.
• Vercel (this website). This marketing site uses privacy-friendly, cookieless aggregate analytics. The Invader app itself contains no such analytics.

New-episode notifications

If you turn on new-episode alerts, Invader registers your device with our notification service (hosted on Supabase) so it can tell you the moment a show you follow publishes. To do that we store two things: your device’s Apple Push Notification token, and the list of feeds you’ve enabled alerts for. That’s all — no name, email, contacts, location, or listening history.

There is no account, so this data isn’t tied to your identity, and it is never used for advertising or any form of tracking. Turning alerts off — globally or for an individual show — removes the corresponding entries from the service. If you leave notifications off entirely, nothing about your subscriptions leaves your device.

Children

Invader is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above and post the revised version here.
